About the Two Minute Drill Game
Who makes this independent daily football game, where the data comes from, and how to report a problem.
Last updated: 16 Oct 2026
The Two Minute Drill Game is an independent, fan-made daily football game. Each day it gives you a real late-game NFL drive and asks you to call the plays. It is free and needs no account.
Not affiliated
This site is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by the National Football League, any NFL team, any broadcaster, or any other two-minute drill game. Team abbreviations appear only to identify the real games the drives come from. No team logos are used.
The data
All drives and play outcomes come from the public play-by-play data published by the open-source nflverse project, covering the 2023 season onward. The data is rebuilt every night, so new games enter the daily rotation within a day or two.
The game's model is deliberately simple: real play results by call type and field zone, a field goal make rate fitted by distance, and how often teams have answered after a kickoff with a given amount of time left. It is a game, not a coaching tool. Real coaches see things the data doesn't: personnel, matchups, injuries and the weather.
